Thanks to Amtrak’s delays, I had a day to enjoy Chicago: a visit to The Art Institute (Rodin- one Gallery, the 5 Vuillards nearby – they are old friends, have to look in on them, and a quick peek at Fuseli’s drawings which I want to see more of ) a quick stop at Dick Blick for some fresh drawing pens, and ribs for lunch. Then it was time to hurry up and wait, leaving 4 hours late.
This morning I woke in Grand Forks ND, the land of the very cold.
