Reception: March 12, 2 – 4pm

Seduced by the magic of North light.

This painting studio will work, and I love that it’s just a walk away from my place. New rhythms in my life, a calm retreat.

What’s on the easel

Works in progress

2 paintings of Boston statues 11×14; and 6×6 lemons – color strings exercise. The lemons are from life, the Boston Women’s statues started onsite but weather and time, and Yaz? From a photo 😱 Cold I can handle but cold and wet? Not this year.

December 2022 Updates

The AGC’s StoveFactory Gallery Winter Exhibit was full of energy and terrific art. Two of my paintings have found their way to new homes . . .

and I found a new studio home – a share at the historic (this is Boston, after all) Fenway Studios, in walking distance to my place. The space is small, but big enough with 2 story north facing windows – just classic. Also a view of I90 – not Vermont. The building and my studio mates are full of the creative energy that I’ve missed while working in isolation.

And now to get back to work.

What’s on my easel – and a reminder

Work in Progress! Its a gorgeous crisp painting day – I have had lots of company from the usual suspects, even a juvenile eagle picking up lunch while cruising by. I’ll need one more late morning to complete (dang sun – it moves around and ruins everything! And lately there’s been fog until 9am. lol, plein air is a sport!)

United, which includes 4 of my paintings, will be open at the StoveFactory Gallery until 5 today and then again next weekend, noon until 5pm.
