Trying something different at the Lake

Today was gloriously 50 degrees! a “get some fresh air while painting” kind of day. It was a quick painting session to try out painting on aluminum flashing – yes, the same stuff that’s on your roof. When the 3 coats of acrylic gesso were dry; I got out the door and into the “wild”. I attached the panel to a slim board with Velcro dots. Next time I’ll try double-sided tape. So slick even with 3 coats. This will take some practice.

Used a double primary palette to keep things simple – first day out this year and of course I forgot things. ie pliers for the stuck paint tube cap, etc.
