To paraphrase the golfers, a bad day of painting beats a good day of everything else

I’m back in the Southwest! Painting, making cookies, watching Jeopardy with my mom, and generally being a nuisance. It’s been cooler and more intermittently cloudy than I expected. Sante Fe was spectacularly snow covered. Tomorrow to Las Cruces to visit with small children and meet a couple of bull dogs.

Is there hope for this space?

Open Studios at the StoveFactory, 523 Medford St, Charlestown MA, are December 1 & 2, 11am – 5pm,

so this is my annual must clean and find the floors week.

Stop by this weekend and see how well I did!

Ready for the “Holidays”? I’m not either but catch the spirit at Hill House’s Firehouse

Fine Furnishings at Waterfire

First thanks Nicky! Without your help and guidance I’d still be knee deep in bubble wrap! I’ll be here tomorrow and Sunday – Fine Furnishings Show at the Waterfire Art Center in Providence RI.

It’s the busy season, and first up is the Fine Furnishings Show at the Waterfire Arts Center in Providence this weekend.

Grey Sunday and back to the studio – work in progress

Beginnings – the studio has some heat and the fumes from last week’s 1st floor sealant have dissipated. (I’m on the 3rd floor and the fumes drove me out in an hour) Time for studio mode and fresh flowers. I did spend a bit of time filling a trash bag – Open Studios will be in December!
