Again, back to the Longfellow Bridge. (with a better shot)
Trying to suggested while avoiding the finickiness of guardrails has meant return visits to my spot overlooking the Charles. I’m not bored yet, but the painting’s not resolved yet. Now how do I paint the cars? a runner or three perhaps? They just don’t pose!

Back in Boston – back to the Longfellow Bridge – WIP
A wonderful walk and two hours of painting time, but who forgot to restock my bag of gear? no rags! sigh, there are always work arounds. The painting is still a work in progress, looks like Sunday will be a good day to return.
ANE 2018: Thursday, panic day?
There’s just a bit of panic on Thursdays at Art New England; with time flying by, have I accomplished my objectives? will work be completed before leaving? and am I happy about what I’m taking home? Cleaning up the studio at 9:30, I knew I got this.

It’s been all about the painting, evocative, and atmospheric. This is a motley assortment of some of the paintings thus far, ranging from 6×6 to maybe 24×30 inches. Vera poses challenges that have me shaking up my work habits.
